Rules
Every rule has a number. Staff use these numbers in infractions, so you always know what a decision is based on.
1. General
These apply everywhere: in-game, in voice and on Discord.
- 1.1
Respect everyone
No harassment, hate speech, discrimination or targeted insults toward any player or staff member.
- 1.2
Follow staff instructions
If a staff member asks you to stop or move, do it first and appeal later through a ticket.
- 1.3
No exploiting
Using glitches, exploits or third-party tools to gain an advantage leads to a permanent ban.
- 1.4
Appropriate names and avatars
Usernames, callsigns and avatars must not be offensive, sexual or impersonate staff.
2. Roleplay
Every action should make sense for your character in a realistic California.
- 2.1
Stay in character
Out-of-character talk belongs in OOC channels or brackets, not in the middle of a scene.
- 2.2
No random deathmatch
Never attack or kill another player without a roleplay reason that started the conflict.
- 2.3
Value your life
Act as if your character fears injury. Surrender when you are clearly outnumbered or at gunpoint.
- 2.4
No meta-gaming
Do not use information your character could not know, such as Discord messages or streams.
- 2.5
New life rule
After you die, forget the scene that led to your death and do not return to it.
3. Driving and vehicles
- 3.1
Drive realistically
Obey traffic laws unless your scene gives a clear reason not to. No ramming without cause.
- 3.2
Realistic vehicles
Use vehicles that fit your character and job. Emergency vehicles are for the matching team only.
- 3.3
No spawning to escape
Do not respawn or reset your vehicle to get out of a pursuit or traffic stop.
4. Emergency services
- 4.1
Respond to calls
While on a law enforcement or fire team, prioritise active calls over free roam.
- 4.2
Use force realistically
Escalate step by step. Lethal force is only for situations where lives are at risk.
- 4.3
No power gaming
Give suspects a fair chance to roleplay. Do not force outcomes that leave no room for a response.
5. Discord
- 5.1
Use the right channels
Keep conversations in the channel they belong in and use tickets for reports and appeals.
- 5.2
No advertising
Do not advertise other servers or communities, also not in direct messages to members.
- 5.3
No spam or mass pings
Avoid spamming messages, emojis or pings, and never ping staff for no reason.
